Popular Brands
The most popular Cordless lawnmower brands at Argos would have to be Spear and Jackson, Flymo, Worx, McGregor and Black & Decker so there is plenty to choose from and prices tend to be very attractive especially when it comes to online ordering and deliveries. If you need the absolute lowest price, then you should take a closer look at the lawn mowers under the Challenge brand at Argos where prices are extremely hard to beat elsewhere.
Argos Cordless Lawnmowers – Top Recommendations
1, Spear & Jackson Cordless 34cm Lawnmower with Grass Trimmer 25cm
Our first recommendation would have to be the fantastic combo deal of the Spear & Jackson 34cm cordless lawnmower with the Spear & Jackson 25cm Grass trimmer which offers superb value for the amount of money involved and they go both do an excellent job in giving a nice, neat and tidy finish to your lawn and the surrounding areas where the lawnmower cannot reach such as through flower beds, steep slopes and trees.
This combo deal is available for less than £280 when seen at the time of our review and it can be paid in 3 equal instalments if you wish using PayPal payment services. Some of the key features worth noting is the two 4Ah batteries included in the pack with the fast charger so you can work and mow with one battery while the other one is recharging.
You get 25-30 minutes mowing time per battery, a rear roller is included and there is a 3 year warranty to cover both the lawnmower and the grass trimmer – overall a great investment for your home and garden for several years to come in our opinion.
Price: £230 - £280
2, Worx Cordless 34cm Lawnmower & Grass Trimmer 25cm
Our second recommendation is from a brand that is well established in the market and it’s another combo deal of the Worx Cordless 34cm lawnmower with the Worx 25cm Grass Trimmer combined. This lawnmower is designed for lawn size areas of 200-250m2 and the batteries included are two 2Ah batteries and these should both be charged at the same time using the dual charging unit. Unlike Spear and Jackson above, the 2 batteries need to be used at the same time for the lawnmower to work.
Both the lawnmower and grass trimmer are cordless and the lawnmower includes a rear roller as well as a 30 litre capacity collection bag and lots of mowing height options that range from 2cm up to 7cm when dealing with taller grasses. The trimmer works with an auto line feed and it includes the front flower guard as standard.
Again, we believe this would be a great home and garden investment and they both come backed with a 2 year warranty. Recharging the batteries takes longer though at 2 hours and the trimmer helps to tidy up the areas that the lawnmower cannot reach.
Price: £220 - £270

3, Flymo SimpliStore 30cm 40V Cordless Lawnmower
Our third and final Argos Cordless lawnmower recommendation today was a tie between McGregor and Flymo but we decided to go with Flymo in the end (by the narrowest of margins!) For people who have small sheds and limited storage space, then you should take a serious look at the Flymo SimpliStore 30cm 40V Cordless Lawnmower which also was on sale for less than £280 when seen at the time of our review.
It can be stored vertically unlike many other lawnmowers and it has two batteries also in the pack offering a power output level of 40V. The grass collection bag is small at 30 litre capacity and recharging the batteries will take 3 hours so it would be better to have them recharged well in advance of any mowing work.
You can expect to get 25-35 minutes mowing runtime from the batteries depending on grass and terrain conditions and it comes backed with a standard 12 month warranty (2 years if registered online)
Price: £230 - £280

Conclusion
After completing our Argos Cordless Lawnmower review, we hope our work here can help you out in some small way and perhaps help speed up the process when it comes to making any final decisions.
The combo pack deals of the Cordless lawnmowers with the Grass trimmers from Spear and Jackson and Worx are certainly our favourites and we have no hesitation is recommending them to the wider public – overall they are a great investment for a nice and neat garden finish that will not disappoint you and they are available at prices that were lower than we expected.
